OSO Polymers is a new company based in Leeds, formed to provide UK plastic recycling solutions which have a significant, positive impact on the environment.
We are committed to increasing UK reprocessing of waste plastic to create an advanced recycled plastic product which can be re-used in multiple different applications and industries; for example, recycled pellets which are suitable to be utilised in packaging products and the manufacturing of other items such as tarpaulins and bottle caps.
We currently have the infrastructure to re-process waste LDPE (Low-density polyethylene) and from early 2021 we will also be able to re-process HDPE (High-density polyethylene) and Polypropylene.
We produce a range of highly-specified recycled plastics that match virgin polymer in performance and deliver better value. All plastic processing takes place in our own plant here in the UK, under the control of a skilled operating and quality assurance team. Our tightly controlled production processes ensure the end products we produce have consistent and reliable physical properties.
Plastic waste recycling is our passion and our vision is to ensure that 100% of UK plastic waste is being recycled and is not being sent to landfill or incineration. We are holding an official launch event alongside our sister company OSO Environmental at our joint site in Leeds on Friday 15 November 2019 from 9.30am to showcase our facilities and physical examples of our UK recycled plastic products. This will also be an opportunity to meet the OSO team, have a look around our site and learn more about our capabilities.
